Project Overview:

A dairy farm customer contacted CatchMark for help getting network connectivity to their new scale house. This scale weighs trucks as they come in and out of the dairy.  Having network connectivity allows for this to be an automated process that helps the truck drivers stay in their trucks and cut down on the time it takes to enter and exit the dairy farm. This connection was completed using a point-to-point wireless solution connecting the scale house to the network using two radios, one on the scale house and the other on another building at the dairy.

 
Project Duration

The project was planned over two weeks with the customer and the electricians. The installation and configuration were completed in a single day.

  • Coordination: The Customer needed this project completed urgently. CatchMark could not complete our project parts without coordination with the Electricians. Our team communicated with them regarding requirements and timeframes to ensure project success.
