Project Overview

CatchMark has had a longstanding relationship with this church, providing support and tailored technology solutions over the years. This latest project marked the largest and most comprehensive engagement to date. The church expanded its facility with a new sanctuary space and partnered with CatchMark to provide full technology integration. This included:
  • Audio and video systems
  • Live streaming setup
  • Wired and wireless networking
  • Surveillance camera deployment
  • Assisted hearing devices
  • Seamless integration with the existing church network

Project Duration

Planning began in late 2023, with technology implementation starting in October 2024 and completing in June 2025.

Technology Stack

The equipment was selected based on performance, compatibility with existing systems, customer preferences, and industry expertise. Major components included:
  • Networking & Surveillance: Ubiquiti
  • Audio Systems: Behringer, Shure, JBL
  • Video Systems & Integration: Atlona
  • Visual Display: Two 10′ x 7′ LED video walls

Project Challenges

  • Managing late-stage change requests driven by design preferences or on-site discoveries
  • Navigating product availability and lead times
Despite these hurdles, the team adapted quickly to keep the project on track.

Results

The finished sanctuary is a beautifully designed space that the congregation has enthusiastically received. From a technology perspective, CatchMark successfully delivered on the vision set forth by the deacon board. While the timeline extended a couple of weeks beyond the customer’s initial target, they recognized the importance of that time and were flexible in supporting the final push. Most notably, CatchMark’s disciplined project management, clear communication, and adaptability enabled the project to finish on budget, even as other aspects of the overall construction experienced significant cost overruns. This was achieved without compromising quality or scope. The church is now equipped with modern, scalable technology that supports their mission to Preach the Word, Teach the Word, and Apply the Word — not just today, but for years to come.
